Can’t connect to my gas fire when not on wi fi
Hi,
I can not connect to my gas fire when I'm not on my home wifi. My gas heater is always connected and I used to be able connect while I was on my way home to turn it on. Since been on the Devi I can no longer do this.
any suggestions?

Hi, May I know the model number of your smart gas fire heater?
If you check on the Deco APP online client lists, will you find the gas heater is online all the time?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP hi there,
yea it's an Escea dx1500. Yea I can see it on the client list. It seems to be blocking external communication (so only when I'm not on my residential wifi), where before I had the deco system set up I could turn fire on/off when I was on the mobile network ( for example returning home from work).
thanks

Hi,
It is suggested to enable UPNP under Deco APP>More>Advanced>NAT Forwarding.
By the way, is Deco X20 the only router that you are using now, with no ISP-provided routers in front of the Deco?
Have you also tried the suggestions listed here:
Why can’t I connect to my fire remotely when I am out of the house?

• The signal for the App to work is either not being sent from the fire itself, or the signal is being blocked by the modem.
• Ensure you have added your fire to your account at http://smartheat.escea.com
• Check you are logged in on the App.
• Ensure your phone is on data and not on a Wifi network.
• Contact Escea if you require further assistance.
Thank you very much and best regards.
