Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

When Adding a new unit the Deco main reboots.

The new unit stays in flashing blue sequence.

if I'm fast I can add the new unit, but then the new unit either stays in permanent blue or flashing red (since the main unit eventually reboots).

If the unit stays in flashing red, performing the hard reset procedure does not execute. Stays in flashing red forever, even if I power cycle the unit.

feels like I have 3 units bricked already.

help please. I'm losing faith in this product.

Looks like this is the normal sequence.

flashing blue -> solid blue -> flashing red -> solid red -> green

The time spent writing the post was enough to see the entire cycle. I was stopping the procedure (disconnecting the unit) at the flashing red.

This sequence is not obvious in the app....

  @A2day

Hi, welcome to the community.

The expected LED sequence should be:

Solid yellow -> flashing yellow -> flashing blue -> solid blue -> solid green

In the normal setup process, a red LED is not supposed to be seen.

For Deco XE75, the units in the same kit are pre-configured: When the main unit is set up successfully, the satellite units can join into the mesh automatically.

So the LED sequence would be a little bit different:

Solid yellow -> flashing yellow -> flashing blue ----> Solid green.

Are you still having issue about the configuration?

If yes, our hotline/ live chat support would love to provide further assistance.

Thank you very much and best regards.
