Hi!

My TL-PA4010 has been working flawlessly for a long time. Yesterday, the powerline led went off. No changes on the router as far I know. I´ve updated the firmware to latest version via app (on a Mac), and power saving mode is set to off. When I plug the TL-PA4010 to an outlet, the three leds go on, but after two minutes, the powerline led goes off. The router seems to be fine, it has internet ( I plug the same ethernet cable to a Mac and got internet ). I have changed the TL-PA4010 to another outlet...

Could you please help me with your expertise?

Hi, 

Thanks for the detailed information.

Please move the powerline extender closer to the router and the powerline adapter. Place them in the same room and within one power circuit for testing.

You can also check if there are any new large electrical products in your home, such as microwave ovens, which could affect the electrical environment.

  @Sunshine I've been having the same problem as the person above. I set up the units on the same circuit (the next double socket down the chain, in fact). The adapter will show the powerline LED for a few minutes and appear to pair with the extender unit, but then the powerline LED will go off on both units, leaving the extender's power LED flashing away every 15 seconds or so (power saving mode). Resetting and repairing has no effect.

Hi,

 

If the power light is unstable on the powerline unit and reset cannot help, please test with different power sockets.

If the issue still exists, please contact the local support to check the warranty for you.
