Dear TP-Link,

 

I recently bought a TP-Link XX230V which has GPON feature.

 

Although I updated to the latest firmware available, I could not change all parameters needed to authenticate with the OLT from my ISP.

 

The latest firmware allow change the GPON password and GPON Serial Number, but we now that it is not enough for most part of ISP.

 

Please consider improve the firmwre by adding more parameters on the GPON interface, such as the example below:

 

 

I believe most users are facing the same problem.

Hi, thanks for posting question on TP-Link community.

XX230V is a customized model for ISP(s）only.  Also, they are responsible for firmware upgrade. If you have any suggestion, please contact your ISP to feedback.

Your answer does not make sense at all!! It seems that TP-Link do not want to provide support for the users!!


This model XX230V is sold for anynone on the market and it has a public specification page provided by TP-Link:

Also TP-link provide a public download link for the firmware:

 

https://www.tp-link.com/br/support/download/xx230v/#Firmware

 

Who support this firmware so?? It is not from TP-Link?

 

On this specification page there is nothing mentioning that user would not received any kind of support from TP-Link since the model is for ISP only.

 

Still believe that TP-Link can respect their customers and provide a suitable solution for their requests.

 

Waiting for a useful answer from TP-Link...
