Hi,

I have a WiFi router in a lounge that cannot be moved and two outdoor cameras at the rear of the house.

I have the TP-Link TL-WPA4220 TKIT 2-Port Powerline Adapter WiFi Starter Kit, one seems to be good for one camera which is at the rear of the house and the other which is in a detached garage in the garden.

Can I use a TP link router (AC2100)as some kind of access point in an extender to boost the signal?

Or has anybody got any suggestions on how to boost the signal at all for the extenders?

Thanks. AC

Hi,

Theoretically there are no limitations what type of device can be connected to the Ethernet port(s) of the Powerline adapters.

Or in other words, any device that works fine when connected via Ethernet cable directly to the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router in the lounge should also work fine when connected to the Ethernet port of the TL-WPA4220.
