Model: Deco X20-4G   Tapo P100  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 240411 Rel.143808

A bought this Tapo P100 the 21 of May and tested this in the Deco app and it worked with 1.1.5 Build 230324 Rel.143956 but not when I upgraded to 1.2.5 Build 240411 Rel.143808

Now today when I tired again to add the Tapo P100 with Deco 3.7.55 it doesn't exists any "TP-Link Tapo" menu. Only "TP-Link Kasa" and "Philips Hue". I have tried with them both, but it will not find any of my Tapo P100. I have both devices with 1.2.5 and 1.1.5.

There should be a menu for "TP-Link" and then it should be an selection for the Device name (like Tapo P100)

 

 

It works with the Tapo app, but I need to use the Deco app, to start the devices remote

Hi, Thanks for the update.

I think it might be related to the current firmware of your Deco X20-4G.

I checked the firmware release note of Deco X20-4G(Deco X50-4G) as well, their latest firmware 1.1.5 Build 20231227 Rel. 68321(1.1.3 Build 20231228 Rel. 60959 for Deco X50-4G) hasn't been updated. So under the Smart Home, only Kasa and Philip Hue devices are supported.

May I know the model number of your Deco products?

Can I have a screenshot that [it doesn't exists any "TP-Link Tapo" menu. Only "TP-Link Kasa" and "Philips Hue"]?

I have two Deco mesh net. One at home and one at the my countryside, where I need to switch on/off remotly. At the contryside I have "X20-4G 4G+" master and one "Deco M4" client and there I only have menus for:
TP-Link Kasa
Philip Hue

But now when I check my home network ("Deco M5" master and one client and also two "Deco M4" clients) I see:
TP-Link Tapo
TP-Link Kasa
Philip Hue
Others

So there is ssomething related with the Mesh type..

I'm unable to connect to my countryside mesh, until I'm back there in the weekend (for the print screen)
