Model: Archer AX55 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20231103 rel.66045(4555)

I have the device in Access Point mode because i plan to add a custom pfsense router to my network vey soon. That been said, i configured the ap to have 4 different wifi networks: 5ghz net, 2.4ghz net, 5ghz guest net and 2.4ghz guest net, the problem is that i can do everything in my network from both wifi: i can cast youtube to the tv, i can ping local devices and i can also ssh into my pc from the guest network... do you have any solution? If i put it in router mode can i set the ip of the device to be part of my current network 192.168.1 for example or it will create its own network (like 192.168.30) no matter what? Thanks you very much!

That's a know behavior - check this thread.

If you set the AX55 Pro in router mode it will do NAT and its LAN IP address won't be in your 192.168.1.0/24 subnet.

I can see that in FW v1.2.2 some "Advanced features into AP mode" has been added.

Is there an option to disable "Allow guests to access your local network" option ?

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@JollyGuerra

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

It is suggested to read this guide to know about the differences between access point mode and wireless router mode.

Under the AP mode, the Guest Network will not be separate from the main network. Clients connected to the guest network can access to the main network.
