Hi,

is it possible to remove the battery M7010 and run it directly from the charger?
I would use it without a battery when at home this summer to avoid it getting too hot and ruin the battery life.

The hardware features section on this page says the following about power supply:

Power Supply

• Internal 2150 mAh Rechargeable Battery (TBL-71B2000 / TBL-71A2000)
• External 5V/1A

but it doesn't specify whether the battery is still required when running on external power.

I would imagine it's not required but by looking in this forum it seems that it is required for other products of the same kind.
