Model: TG-3468
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0.14

I have a Dell OptiPlex 7010 running Windows 11 Pro (Version 23H2, OS Build 22631.3958) and recently installed a dual Ethernet LAN card setup. The inbuilt LAN card is working fine, but I purchased a TP-Link Model TG-3468 PCI slot Ethernet card from the local market.

While both Ethernet cards are recognized in Network Connections, the TP-Link card stops working after a few minutes. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

Hi,

Is this a brand new TG-3468 V1 or is it second hand? (I ask because my own TG-3468 V1.2 is from 2011)

If there is another PCI Express slot available on the mainboard of your Dell computer, then test if it works better in that one.

By the way, how exactly does the TG-3468 stop working? I mean, is only the network connection dropped, but the network card still shown in Windows or does the network card completely vanish from the system?

Thank you for your valuable assistance.

I’m pleased to inform you that the issue has been resolved. I downloaded and installed the latest driver for the TP-Link Ethernet card, and it is now functioning properly.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
