Hi everyone,

I’m Darshan Hiranandani, looking to replace my old Linksys WRT160NL router and am considering a suitable TP-Link model. Specifically, I’m looking at the TP-Link Archer AX23.

Does anyone have experience with the Archer AX23 or recommendations for other TP-Link routers that might be a good upgrade? Any advice on features or models that would offer a solid performance boost would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi

Additionally, as you are currently exploring the AX23 model, we welcome other users to share their experiences for your consideration.

Here are some ways to improve stability:
1. It is suggested that you refer to the following link to enter the management interface of Archer router, go to Advanced-Network-Internet and change the primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4:
How to login the web management page of router
How to change DNS
2. Then go to Advanced>Wireless>Wireless Settings to change the channel bandwidth of 2.4G and 5G.
Please change the router's Wi-Fi channel and channel width. For 2.4GHz, channels 1, 6 and 11 are generally best. For 5GHz, we recommend you use channel 36. You may change 2.4G channel width to 20MHZ, 5G channel width to 40MHZ.
3. Go to Advanced > System > Firmware Update to upgrade the firmware of the Router.
