Model: Deco X20   Deco E4
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20240723 Rel. 64983

I have a deco network with topology as below

i use X20 for Main Deco and E4 for another deco

ignore "Masjid Belakang" and "R2" units, because im turning it off, in this topology i not use switch or anything, i just connet via LAN port on deco

the connection is like from Internet -> MainDeco(Port 1), MainDeco(Port 2) -> Ruangtengah(Port1), Ruangtengah(Port2) -> R1(port1), R1(port 2) -> R2(port1), R2(port2) -> R3(port1), R3(port2) -> R4(port1)

why guest network just can acces from MainDeco and Ruangtengah ? do I have to provide a switch after the “Main Deco” and connect all Deco to the switch and do VLAN settings?
or is there another way of setting so that the “guest network” can be accessed from all decos?

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.

Here is a beta firmware for Deco E4 V1/V2.:

https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2024/202403/20240313/e4r_ver1-6-1_240313_beta.zip

It is suggested to install this beta firmware on all the satellite Deco E4 to see whether it helped.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

It should work without the network switch.

How about the main Wi-Fi network? Would the devices be able to connect to the main network of the satellite Deco units?

By the way,  Did Deco work in wireless router mode? Have you tested on different mobile devices to see whether they all had the similar issue?

Wait for your reply and best regards.
