I am using my android phone to connect to the Internet via data (unlimited) 

I have set the phone up as a hotspot so that my smart tv can access the Internet. 

Phone set to no wif

TV connection set to WiFi using hotspot 

All working 

My TV Internet speed is slow, (2.5Ghz only available). I have connected a w9970 via ethernet to the TV to see if the speed I faster. 

I can turn on WiFi to configure w9970 if required. 

I have turned of DHCP as it is mentioned in ote threads

W9970 has been set up with the wireless SSID and password for the hotspot, the same as the wireless connection on the TV

I had hoped that changing the TV to wired would then use the w9970 to connect to the Internet BUT the TV just says no Internet connection.

Any ideas would be appreciated. 

I cannot check Internet connection on W9970 as I have to use WiFi on my phone to access W9970 which then disconnects the data connection. (flip flopping from WiFi to datal
