Recently purchased and installed two Voice X20's to replace/pair with my Deco M5's was hoping to improve the quality and range of the WIFi and also the benefit of having an Alexa device in a couple more rooms was bonus.

I've placed one of these units in my bedroom to replace an Echo dot and the other in the living room as the main device. WiFI quality I have no issue with althugh I do feel like I've downgraded in some respects - I can no longer isolate a device. Which feels like a downgrade over an upgrade.

The main issue is the speaker quality. I've seen this advertised as having 'precision bass', 'premium sound', 'robust sound with deep penetrating bass'

I'm by no means an audiophile but these devices are a massive downgrade over even my Echo dot. There's barely any bass, no warms, little mid tones. At best I'd describe them as thin an tinny. Sometimes I find them un-listenable. As it stands I'm going to have to return these units.

Have I got some bad units or are all the Voice X20s like this?
