Hi,

Got this LS10008G switch 10/100/1000Mpbs for quite some while, but the speed won't go over 100Mpbs.

The configuration is the following: Orange router (1800Mpbs plan) > (30m CAT6) > LS1008G > PC (motherboard 10/100/1000Mpbs), however, the speed will peak at 100Mpbs.

Is there anything that has to be done in particular for this switch to get closer to that 1000Mpbs?

Thank you!

Usually this is cause by the bad cabling. CAT 5e would suffice too.

You can check that by using a shorter factory made quality cable between the orange router and the LS1008G just for the test.
