Firmware Version:

Hi! I resetted the extender and when I started to reconfigure it as an extensor it didn't allow me to put the password there was before, which wasn't the same from the modem´s it was connected to. I cannot find where to do so, when I go to Wireless - extension network I only can put back the SSID but nowhere to change the password, just a message that says ´password is the same from your host password´

I need them to be different as they were before, for now I put it as an access point but I have a wire all across my apartment. Can you help me out? I tried from the theter and the webpage and nowhere to change it

Hi,

Do you want to customize the WIFI password when use it in access point mode or range extender mode?

For Access Point mode, you can simply customize the password here: Settings> Wireless.

For Rnage Extender mode, please refer to this thread
