Backhaul on Deco X50
Hi
I have three rooms spread out across my house, all connected via ethernet back to my router/modem for internet connection
I want to provide a Onemesh wifi everywhere
If I install a Deco X50 in each room, with each X50 plugged into the ethernet network, will the backhaul between them happen via the ethernet connections they have, or will they try to do backhaul via wifi (if they are in range of each other?)
I do not want wifi backhaul to happen – I just want the ethernet to provide the backhaul

Hi, It will work but please make sure the Deco has been set into "Access Point" mode:

And more details about Ethernet Backhaul, please refer to General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
Thank you very much and best regards.

TP-Link Deco does not support OneMesh. See this document for more info: TP-Link Deco Mesh vs EasyMesh vs OneMesh vs Omada Mesh What's the Difference?

Thank you David
Can you confirm that the three Decos will still create a seamless MESH Wi-Fi network between them when in AP mode?
