Model: Deco M5   Tapo H100
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have had a Tapo Hub for around a year that has worked flawlessly.  I recently bough a Tapo Smart Button and had to relocate the Tapo Hub to be a bit closer to the Smart Button.  When I plugged it in it wouldn't connect.  I have since tried reinstaling it, doing a factory reset on the Tapo Hub and removed the old Tapo Hub from the Tapo App - nothing works and the Tapo Hub keeps failing to pair.  I have three TP-Link Deco M5 which are using the WPA/WPA2, I have confirmed I am using the right password, and from what I gather I cannot select the channel on the M5's.  What can I do?

Hi, welcome to the community.

It is suggested to install the latest beta firmware for Deco M5 here to see whether it helped or not:

Satellite Deco Units Work Well but Display Offline on the Deco APP

Please also try to temporarily disable the 5GHz under the main network, and turn off "fast roaming" and "beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

Thank you very much and best regards.
