Hi, thanks for posting question here.

Ideally, Archer AXE75 and Archer AX73 set up Easymesh network and they can handle 70 smart devices.

But it is really hard to say. For example, if all your 70 smart devices need to be connected to 2.4GHz wifi band, and your network environment is not that clean, the performance of some smart devices may be influenced. And usually, you may have other kinds of devices,which need to be connected to 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi bands.

Hi ive not got the ax73 but I do have the ax72v.01 and on a busy day I have upto 65 devices connected to my network and i don't see any issues.

I do have them mixed between hardwired/2.4 and 5ghz.

Hope this helps.

  @bgoyal Be aware that AX73 doesn't have any way to turn on separate "IoT Network". TP-Link is oblivious to customer request.

Really, that's bad.

I have the ax72v.01 and I can turn it on via the Web Gui or on the tether app so I'm surprised you cant do it on the ax73.

  @Basboi85 Yeah it's pretty unfortunate. Such a basic feature is not available in AX73 V2.

Could you please confirm what is the firmware version of your AX73 V2? Is it working in Router Mode or Access Point Mode?

As far as I can confirm, the routers that support IoT Network settings should have the same configuration as mentioned by Basboi85.

Can I also have the IoT Network settings on your AX73 V2? Thank you.

  @Kevin_Z Hi,

Archer AX73(EU)_V2_1.1.0 Build 20240323 -- This is the firmware that my AX73 V2 is currently running.

It is working in ROUTER mode.

The router doesn't support the option to create a separate IoT Network. I am using my 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network as my IoT Network as of now.

@Subhrajit_P

If that is the case, I would like to escalate your case to our support engineers and they will be able to figure out whether there is a firmware bug.

Please check your registered email for follow-up if you would like to find it out.

  @Subhrajit_P

The AX20 does now the V3 anyway so expect the AX73 to have it some time soon as well.
