Hi,

I have an Archer AX73 and would like to extend my Wifi. I tried RE505X, but it works poorly and keeps dropping out and cannot be reached via the TP-Link Tether app. So the plan is to get another Archer AX73 or perhaps an Archer AXE75. Am I better off with a Archer AXE75 or will it be smoother with an identical one, ie Archer AX73?

Thanks in advance!

Hi  @xotoy

As terziyski mentioned, both Archer AXE75 and Archer AX73 support Easy mesh, so you can consider one of them as a device to extend your network.

The instruction for configuring an Easy mesh network is as follows:

How to add a router to an EasyMesh network as a satellite device

The main difference between AXE75 and AX73 is that the former one uses Wi-Fi 6E technology, has 6Ghz capabilities, and has higher performance. If you consider Archer AXE75, it is recommended that you set it as the main router.

If you don't really want to modify the original network settings, then you can consider Archer AX73.

Here is a comparison between the two routers.

Both Archer AX73 and Archer AXE75 support Easymesh so they both should do the job.
