Hi,

I want to connect my Ring doorbell to my extender. But I can't find the extender on my wi-fi networks.

This is the first time I've used an extender and so am a complete novice.

Thanks.

Hi  @CliveBroom

If your client devices have no Internet access when connected to the Range Extender's Wi-Fi, or have trouble connecting/hooking up to the extender's Wi-Fi, please follow the following steps:

1. Connect your Laptop/Phone/Printer/ Other Client device to the host Router directly to verify the Internet status of the host Router and the Wi-Fi functionality of the client device.

2. Make sure the Extender's lights are normal:

    1) If the signal light is red, please move the Range Extender closer to the host Router to receive a better signal from the host Router.

    2) If the Wireless/ RE lights are all off, the Range Extender has lost connection to the host Router, please reset the extender and reconfigure it again:

With the extender powered on, use a pin to press the RESET button for 1 second. The extender will reset and reboot

3. Turn off any Mac address filter or Access Control feature on the host Router. Please contact the router support for detailed instructions.

4. If only one end device doesn’t have internet access:

    1) Reboot the device and the extender.

    2) Try connecting the device to a different Wi-Fi network to ensure it works. Update the network adapter of the device.

3) Update the network adapter of the device:

If there is an “incorrect password” error when connecting client devices to the extender’s Wi-Fi, but the same wireless password works fine with the router’s Wi-Fi, please hard reset the extender and re-configure it using its Web Interface in place of the WPS method:
