Deco M4 latency spikes every 10 seconds
Newly installed. Everything's great except...
...lag spikes of up to 1300 to 2000+ms, every 10 seconds.
It's absolutely trashing audio and video meetings. I'm having to fall back on my using my phone as a 4G hotspot to get a stable wireless network connection.
Tried:
- Rebooting the router
- Rebooting the Deco network
- Rebooting my endpoints
- Making sure everything had current firmware in the end-to-end chain
- I don't want to run these in AP mode because I bought them for their webfiltering capability (which is disabled in AP mode).
I since note from these forums that this is an issue that affects multiple models and that has been repeatedly raised for a number of years, often without resolution.
If I can't get a reasonable solution very quickly, they will go back to the retailer as faulty.

Can I have the model number of the devices that would have constant ping spike issues on the Deco Wi-Fi?
-Have you tried to disable "Fast Roaming" and “Beamforming” under Deco App>More>Advanced?
-It is also suggested to turn off "Mesh Technology" for these clients.
Double NAT would also cause the ping latency. Have you considered using Deco M4 to replace the ISP-provided router?
