AX53 wifi drops/ unable to connect 2.4G
Hello,
I am facing issues with wifi connectivity:
1. In case of quick setup and all set to auto, there are often drops of wifi even if I am sitting next to router. Each device will randomly disconnect and reconnect almost immediately. Have tried to set channels according to channel utilization etc.
2. In case of disabled 5G wifi, some devices are not able to connect. It is connecting and disconnecting cycle which never ends. Does not matter if it is android or ios.
I have 3 same ax53 units and behavior is the same for each. Having the latest firmware and no special settings. Router is in AP mode.

@jra11500 Thank you. I have checked this just through the webapp. I see there are later versions manually installable. Will try.

Topic updated. I have picked wrong model - it is ax53, so it means the firmware is the latest.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
May I confirm some information to understand your situation better?
1. What is your exact network topology? How did your connect your three Archer AX53?
2. How many devices do you have? Are all of them wireless? When 5GHz band is off, which devices failed to connect to 2.4GHz band?
3. Did you enable Smart Connect or did you set same wifi names for two wifi bands?
4. How often does the unstable connection issue happen? When the issue happens, how about the LED status on Archer AX53?
Is the wired connection stable?
5. Please follow this troubleshooting guide and share details results if it does not help.

1. ISP router -> switch -> First floor AX53 1 (AP mode, ssid1)
|-> second floor AX53 2 (AP mode ssid2)
Third router is is different building connected to different isp router without switch in AP mode
2. All wireless, 4 connected continuously, max 10 wireless when I have guests. When 5ghz is off usually the newcomers are unable to connect. Does not matter if it is ios or android. I have tried to disconnect myself during visit and I was not able to connect also.
3. Tried smart connect, same or different wifi names. Behavior was the same. In general : 5ghz smart connect enabled - micro drops in connectivity. 5ghz disabled : unable to connect for some devices
4. 5ghz, smart : twice per day 2.4 g only - almost each time there are visitors (does not matter if new or already known to wifi router) have not tried - I have wireless only
5. Troubleshooting: tried these tips also tried to change encryption, channels etc. No results for both buildings
