Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20230906 rel.52143(5553)

Router : TP-Link Ax6000

Hardware: V1

Firmware : 1.3.2 Build 20230906 rel.52143(5553)

Issue :

Hello, I'm trying to set up an IPv6 connection on my router, but I'm facing issues. The connection either connects briefly and then disconnects or doesn't connect at all. I’ve tried various settings in the IPv6 advanced options, but the problem persists.

I know my ISP (Etisalat) supports IPv6 because I’ve successfully connected with a different router before. Can someone assist me with resolving this issue?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm your network topology? Can you get internet access normally via IPv4?

It is suggested to confirm the internet connection type with your ISP first and follow this guide:
How to set up an IPv6 Internet connection on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers

@Marvin_S My ipv6 networking runs perfectly with openwrt (and a former pfsense appliance), the ax6000 gets the ipv6 correct, but doesnt accept an conection coming from the internet to the router. A litle tip, if you wanna use ipv6, buy an dedicated openwrt router. (Or wait untill one day they fix ipv6 from ax6000)

Hi, thanks for your update.

May I confirm whether your situation belongs to Case2 in the guide?

If so, can the IPv4 internet work properly on the router? Is the IPv4 address obtained by Archer AX6000 private IP or public IP?
