Deco X10 Solid red color, Unable to connect to internet
Hi there!
I recently bought the Deco X10 in a 3pack set, after hearing alot of positive information surrounding it to extend my network.
However, none of the Deco X10 units seem to be able to connect to the internet. I installed the app and followed the guide on the app exactly as specified on all 3 deco devices, but none of them seem to be able to connect to the internet.
A few notes
- My internet connection is a fiber connection.
- My connection type is PPPoE
- My internet service provider is Mweb
- My router is a tp link archer AX53 | AX3000 (https://www.tp-link.com/za/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-ax53/)
- My router does in fact have internet access
The error im getting is:
Ive contacted my ISP multiple times and they say that everything is working on their side and they are unable to provide assistance to me.
Also, the fact that all 3 decos dont seem to work, means that the issue is with my current setup, but i cant seem to find a proper error or a good solution to this. I must be missing something somewhere along the configuration of either the routers or the deco devices.
Ive tried:
- Setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- MAC Cloning
