Hello,

I recently installed a Deco X10 (3 unit) system at home but am having trouble with my phones connecting to it on the 5GHz SSID. I tried setting the preferrence to 5GHz manually for my S23 Ultra but it fails to connect to it, a message pops up saying Can't connect to wireless. I tried with another phone, a S21 FE, and that fails to connect to the 5GHz band as well.

I read a suggestion somewhere that I should create a 5GHz only guest network and try with that, but that fails as well although my laptop connects just fine to the 5GHz band. I noticed that the 5GHz guest SSID disappears after it fails to connect to it, I have to disable and re-enable the guest network on the app to get it to show up again. Tried optimizing the network as well, that did nothing to improve things.

I wasn't having any such issues with my old Google Mesh system.

Any ideas?

Also, is there any way to gain detailed admin access to the system? The app is really sparce on the admin settings and so is the web panel.

@imadsani Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Please disable "Fast roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

2. Please temporarily power off the satellite Deco X10s if possible(leave the main Deco X10 only).

Wait for your reply and best regards.
