4G router is it a dream or true

I saw the product listing of TL MR 3040 across various websites and decided to procure this, I have Airtel LTE connection. when I tried to connect to 4Gnetwork I am unable to connect, when I reached out to the support, they say that 4G is not compatible in India, but the same works in Hongkong. I cant relocate to Hongkong for the router to work.
What is the way out. its really frustrating, also the support is pathetic they are short of asking we never asked you to buy.
