TL-WR710N Media Server
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WR710N
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.14.9 Build 130419 Rel.58371n
ISP :
I've setup this router in repeater mode to extend my wifi network coverage. It got assigned an IP address from my DSL router, the IP address is 192.168.1.100. When I enable the Media Server, it doesn't appear on any media player I tried (VLC, XBMC, Power Player iOS, ...).
I finally found the problem and it seems to be a bug. When I directly visit the server's announce URL: http://192.168.1.100:49152/description.xml, I find that the URLBase value is 192.168.0.254, the default IP that comes preconfigured on this router. Thus it is confusing UPNP clients who are unable to connect to that IP address because it doesn't exist.
This is the xml output the the discovery url:

The URLBase ( http://192.168.0.254:49152/) at the end of this xml output is the culprit.
Is there any solution for this?
