Region : Argentina

Model : TL-WDR4300

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

I am using a WDR4900(EU) router. Can I upgrade firmware as per TL-WDR4900 v1 (None EU Model) as I am wanting to use TP Link tether.

I am not sure what the difference is between EU and None EU router. Firmware for EU router does not support Tether.

Thanks.

electric product should be permitted by local authentication,so the difference between EU and none EU is the items of authentication, such as power...
and WDR4900 has discontinued so I think TP-LINK will not update the firmware and it will not support Tether forever.

I am guessing it will not cause any harm by updating this version.
