Hello,
Todoy i bought this router.
I use the easy config method using the mini-CD
and later too entering via web (192.168.0.1) ...
I checked the configuration and is OK but nones of my devices see the SSID of the 5Ghz ... just 2.4Ghz is showing.

Yes, the router ir configured to dual-band simultaneous (fabric preset).

Is a knowed problem? i have to do a firmware update? the router is broken?

Thx.

Hello ... u mean this screenshot (attached) ?

Im wondering if i cant see the ssid published a cause of receiver incompatibility ...
im using an USB (levelone 150Mbps WUA-0614) compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g [on my desktop PC]

but in the laptop (HP Envy)
This one: http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/products/Laptops/HP-ENVY/E4S81AV?HP-ENVY-17t-j100-Leap-Motion-TS-SE-Quad-Edition-Notebook-PC&jumpid=cp_r163_us/en/pc_comm/higher-asp/envy17-leap/buynow-carousel

With:

Wireless technologies
802.11b/g/n WLAN [1x1]
802.11b/g/n 2x2 WLAN and Bluetooth® [2x2]
802.11 AC WLAN and Bluetooth® [1x1]

and this device too cannot see the ssid or connect to 5Ghz.

thx =)

Hello ;) Maybe this is problem with wireless drivers?
Can you see another SSID on 5Ghz? You can try switch off "auto" and set channel.

Hi,

Levelone WUA-0614 works only with 2.4GHz...

My WDR4900 is working fine with 5GHz (I use "11n only" and "40MHz")...

I suggest you to identify the chip used by the wireless adapter of your laptop (it's probably a Qualcomm Atheros AR9xxx).
These wifi chips require the last driver from the chip manufacturer;;;
