BE3600 - issues with LAN speed and unrecognized ports

Hello,
I lost my LAN speed overnight. My Wi-Fi works fine at 1000 Mbps, but when I connect through the LAN1 port, the speed drops to 1.15 Mbps. I’ve tried using a different LAN port, but the others don't even recognize the cable when I plug it in. Only the LAN1 port works, but it's still slow.
- I also tried on my laptop, and the same issue occurs. The Wi-Fi works fine, but the LAN is extremely slow.
- I tried two different cables, one CAT6 and one CAT8, but both are slow.
- I reset the router to factory settings, but that didn’t solve the problem.
Here’s a picture of the state when the cable is not plugged into LAN1.
What could be causing this overnight? Is it a hardware malfunction?

Is the BE3600 brand new? Are you using the original power adapter that came with the device?
How long is the cable? Please make sure the cables are qualified and correctly plugged into the LAN port of the BE3600 as well as the computer.
Additionally, please provide the brand and model of the adapter on the computer that is connected to the LAN port of the BE3600. Please also provide that of the other devices that you've tested to connect to the BE3600 via the LAN.
If nothing helps, we recommend reaching out to the local tech support, so they can work with you in looking into the issue further or help with the replacement:

Hi @Kevin_Z
The BE3600 is basically brand new, yes. I bought it four weeks ago. It was working fine—there were no issues with the same cables and computers.
Then yesterday, I connected the Ethernet cable to my MacBook (via a dongle), and the internet was so slow that I couldn’t even access the “http://tplinkwifi.net” router page. So I decided to test it on my desktop PC, and the result was the same.
I tried it with two cables: the one that came with the router and a 3m-long CAT8 cable.
Thanks for the advice, though—I contacted technical support, and we’re in touch now. I will update this thread if I have some info about this issue.

OK, so I returned the router and they gave the money back. It was a faulty one, because the next day it was just... dead. :)) I couldn't turn it on anymore.
