TL-WR1043ND v1 and Gigabit speeds
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version : 3.13.15 Build 140319 Rel.41339n
ISP : Ownit
My internet provider provides me with a 1000/1000 speed connection yet I have been unable to measure speeds over 120Mbit when testing my WAN connection.
As my IP has a 2 hour MAC-address lock I've been reluctant to bypass the router and check if I get greater speeds when connected directly to outlet. So before I attempt that I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that this router can deliver 1000Mbit when connected by Ethernet cable to the internet? I'm using only CAT6 cables and my network adapter (Intel® 82579 Gigabit Ethernet Controller) on my computer supports gigabit speeds.
Also I've been using speedtest.net and the Swedish site bredbandskollen.se to check my speeds, could it be possible that they are incapable of measuring gigabit speeds?
