My home has a Deco system where I'm connected through a router that's connected to the main router. I'd like to host a Minecraft server, but I don't know how to port forward properly. According to online guides, I need to port forward on both routers to make this work, but the Deco app only allows for the port to be forwarded once. What do I do to make this work?

Hi,welcome to our community.

All your Deco units set up a Deco mesh network, which is like a router.  As you have a main router that the Deco network connect to, that is double-NAT topology and  it is also necessary to take port forwarding on your main router.

Or you may change Deco network from wireless router mode into Access Point mode and you can just take port forwarding on your main router.

Thank you and best regards.

@Marvin_S Hello Marvin, thank you for your reply. Regarding access point mode, if I turn that mode on, then I would not need to do anything else with deco, and only take care of the port forwarding on the main router? Would the whole port forwarding thing be treated as one router at that point?
