Model: Deco BE95
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1_1.1.0 Build 20241217

Hi. I just started setting up the Deco and I'm a bit surprised by the apparent lack of features in the firmware. The web interface pointless. Is there an advanced mode I'm missing somewhere? Using the app for everything is painful.

I have several devices that need to keep their time in sync using a NTP server. The thing is, I don't want them to have access to anything else on the internet.

I've found I can block internet with parental controls which is hacky but works. However the "Always allowed apps" is a hard-coded list of pre-determined sites so I can't add a custom address/port

I hope I'm missing somerthing because the hardware is great. It would be disappointing to have to return the product because of limited firmware.

  @Dave-W

Hi, welcome to the community.

You didn't miss any configurations. The HomeShield Parental Control rules are intended to block unnecessary sites and don't support limiting the accessible web addresses.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
