Hi there, 

This is probably a stupid question but I am struggling to get my Archer AX1800 connected to my NBN. 

The NBN box is connected and online but the router has the internet led orange. Via the tp-link app I started the set up and connected my phone to the tp-link network but then the app keep saying that it cannot find any device. 

 

what am I doing wrong? can anyone help?

Hi,

 

Is "Archer AX1800" the exact model name as per the serial number label on the router's casing?

 

If the Tether app doesn't work for some reason, then you can also configure the router via its web management interface. To do that open a web browser on your phone and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. (of course the phone needs to be connected to the router's TP-Link network)
