Problems with router filmware TP-LINK WR841HP

hello my question is that from a branch to the company I work for vpn are connected and the router WR841HP but can not get the connection was tested with TP -LINK WR842ND and the TP -LINK MR3420 and it works.There are some settings that differs that may be blocking the connection ?it may charge the filmware of any of the teams that if they work in the WR841HP ?( Sorry for my English is very basic )Thank youLeonel
