Modem identification stuck at 'Identifying'

Hi,
I've tp-link TL-MR3420v2 router with Huawei E3372h-607 unlocked modem. I'm using bsnl sim for accessing the internet. When i connect this modem to the router the status is stuck at 'Identifying....'. Can someone please help me solve this issue? The hardware version is v2.4 and the firwareware installed is 3.16.9 Build 150319.
