TL-WN823N Not working on Windows 7 Desktop, but does on Windows 8 Laptop

I recently purchased this wireless adapter to get my desktop access to WiFi while I wait to get my wired connection up and running. I installed the latest drivers for Windows 7 64 Bit, made sure the security setup and key were correct, but it will no connect to the network. I plugged the adapter into my laptop to test, and it works perfect. I upgraded my desktop to the latest BIOS, and made sure my WLAN AutoConfig service was running. It can see the network, and shows a strong signal, but refuses to connect to it. I disabled my Windows Firewall, and I have no third party anti virus or firewall programs. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
