Cannot enable teaming with two GiG Ethernet interfaces
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
My motherboard (ASUS M5A88-V EVO) has an onboard Realtek GiG-E interface. In order to create in Link Aggregation group I purchased a TP-Link TG-3468 and loaded the latest driver and diagnostics tool but no teaming support. I downloaded the Realtek Diagnostics utility v2.0.0.5 which provides the teaming option but no matter what type of teaming I create, the teaming interface repeatedly reports media disconnected even though one or both NICs have a link up. Please note that I am using a TP-Link TL-SG108E Easy Smart switch as the other end of the team in a port group.
How do I get a working teaming interface to work? Is there a way to get the latest diagnostics tool to display the teaming option?
