Model :

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version :

ISP :

Just got this today (11/01/2017) from Amazon, not sure why it's not V4 but the problem is:

Unable to update firmware via "Cloud Server" or via "local server":

Cloud Server:

The manual states that if there is no newer firmware available then the MiFi admin page should state that (not produce an error).

Local Server:

Using the country selector then browsing goes to this page (for the UK): http://uk.tp-link.com/download/M7350_V3.html#Firmware

2 firmware downloads are available:
M7350_V3_151021 - Published Date: 21/10/15
[*]M7350_V3_150707 - Published Date: 07/07/15
Downloading the latest first, and extracting ZIP file (which reveals a further zip file: 'M7350(UN) 3.0_1.0.9 Build 151021 Rel.1017n_User.zip'

After attempting the upload/apply the firmware update, the error is given:

Repeated for the slightly older firmware, same result.

Unsure if the current firmware version on the MiFi is the latest or not, but there's no download for it on the site if so.

Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 160330 Rel.1002n

Any ideas on what's going on here? The main reason for wanting to update the firmware is that SD card data transfer stalls after a few seconds (over WiFi or USB), have to turn auth off to use over WiFi.

Hi, 160330 is the latest firmware for M7350V3.
160330 is a EU version, while the others are UN version, they have different country code, so you can't downgrade to the older firmware.
When upgrading, it is recommended to connect your PC to 7350 via cable, and maybe you need be on PC with windows operation system.

As for the SD card issue, what capacity is your SD card? This problem may also related with the file stored in your SD card.

That's fine, but the documentation states that the cloud server will inform me if the latest firmware is updated, it doesn't it just shows an error.

That makes sense.

I have the 7350 connected via USB while attempting upgrade, I also have Windows but I'm guessing it shouldn't really matter since it's done via a web browser.

I'll reply to this on the other thread I created ( http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?94470-M7350-V3-USB-(and-WiFi)-SD-Card-Transfer-Issue)

Thanks
