M7350(EU) V5.0 model unable to update firmware
Hi To Whom It May Concern,
Please advice how to update the firmware on the M7350 (EU) V5.0 model, I presume I had download the correct firmware for the correct model as it is shown the firmware is meant for M7350(EU) V5.0.
But everytime I try to update the firmware, it stop around 30% and it say the update file is not suitable for the firmware.
Please help. I have attached several photo for reference.

We have checked that your firmware is a Maxis special-designed product. So this firmware can't upgrade the general firmware on the official website.
Could you please tell me why did you want to upgrade the firmware? Did this product has any problem?

I wish to update to see if it could improve the network speed as most of the time it is very slow althought it show LTE speed.
Since I can't update the firmware then it is okay.

Hello,
1. Please insert your SIM card to your cell phone and test the 4G data speed, then send me a screenshot of it.
2. Then disable the 4G data on your cell phone, open the hotspot on your cell phone. Please use another phone to connect the hotspot of this phone and test the speed.

@Sunshine Same problem. Ya, I bought this from a local IT shop, he said that this modem was unlocked. I am using YES 4G right now. But the connection around my house is about 3-4 Mbps. As I read on the TP-Link website, the new firmware can lock the desire band. Since Band 40 is the best band for 4G LTE for YES, so I decided to upgrade. I'm using the same version of M7350 v5. Please help me/us...

If your M7350 is a customized version, you need to confirm if there is any newer firmware with Maxis, your provider, we don't provide any generic firmware update for it.
