Hello,

Unfortunately I installed the wrong firmware on my 3-month old device tp link WPA4220. I installed the firmware of another tp link PLC device.

Since then, my computer won´t recognise the device when connecting it. When I plug it in I can see the lights and the wireless connection, but it has no internet access. The powerline led is also off and sometimes blinking.

I have tried the reset bottom with no luck.

Is there a way to make this device go back to the original firmware? or shall i throw it away already?

Thanks!

Thats the wireless adapter correct? Get the Powerline Scan utility, Connect to the admin webpage and update it through there. Then get the latest TPUtility ap and update it through there.
