@chrisfromthelc I've always thought the odds are that the problem has more to do with the local physical connection, maybe it's the cable, maybe it's the port, maybe it's the distance.

@danielpedrosaa Another suggestion, maybe the channel has changed caused the mesh AP can not reconnect. Tried put the root AP fixed on the Band1/Band4.

@Dawg4728 Did you set the portal only with the LAN? Tried to set the portal/voucher for wireless network/SSID.
