@mkostet I have exactly the same problem. The moment they updated the router with an USB failover with 4G functionality I was happy. Now I am dissapointed, could be a bug but still not solved....

@MR.S Yes that is what I am doing now so I have a work around. But since two years we have suddenly an USB with 4G wich is good but in this way not working.

@Carlootje Underneath the setup which is working when WAN is connected, my assumption was that USB would take over at faillure....

Forgot, so when USB is connected and my laptop is on a LAN of the router and VPN outbound connection can be setup without a problem. Only thing that is not working is that the router should do this...

@MR.S I update the firmware but still same problem. Underneath screenshot of the Actual status with USB connected and working (Unless VPN outbound). Is there a way to confirm that this is not...
