As an update here I removed the Ethernet backhaul between the two units and relied on mesh (using the Poe switch for power only) and speed increased up to about 60mb on the Garden unit. so, it looks...

@Sunshine speed at second deco is lower (to be expected), but still over 200mb. definitely attached to the garden x50 with those low speed tests. ill try and chance the Ethernet port on the x50....
