Not supporting APFS is a problem for TM too because with standard partitions one needs to specify physical partitions with specific capacity, while in APFS, logical partitions means that backing up...

@David-TP any update on this? We're all still waiting for TP to support broadcasting usb-connected disks to its routers as SMB on Bonjour so that these disks show up when we try to backup using Time...

@David-TP just note that the issue is not only with future MacOS (27 or later), but the issue is even with MacOS 26, the current one. This is because currently one can only backup using Time Machine...
