Hi just wondering, if there are any Firmware Update for the RE 650 or will this device be no longer updated?

Well unfortunately all nowadays company act the same customer unfriendly way and just want to sell their products period. Also when I bought the RE650 there was no information, that mesh only works...

Even with new Firmware 1.08 the RE650 is not listed as Repeater on AVM 6591 Cable FW 7.13 only as Wlan client user. Still having random problems with failed connections and same allocated Ip Numbers....
