i've got the exact same problem. I need alerts as they happen, but they only seem to do this when the phone is or has been recently active.

Anyone else find the alerts intermittent? It seems its all or nothing. I get a run of motion alerts for perhaps 20 minutes. Then, after a couple of hours, i might not get any at all until i wake up...
