@Kevin_Z thanks for the info. It seems as though connecting the modem/router to the internet via USB tethering isn't supported.

Hi, Can someone please tell me if it possible to use my smart phone with one of the USB 3.0 ports to provide Internet via USB tethering? It says 3g/4g on the box but I don't think it supports this...
