I have a Deco system with 3 M4R units, around 5-6 years old. I am considering a further extension and was looking at the current Deco X 1500 units. would these be compatable with the older units?

I tried to install firmware by using HTTP Recovery Mode but failed everytime. Maybe my Deco M4 is dead after voltage fluctuation. I tried after changing adapter but nothing happend.
