I'd like to know this as well...found an FAQ but it wasn't clear if it referred to the Smart plug (found it via Google) and it refers to an 'advanced' menu which doesn't seem to exist. None of the other settings appear to offer the ability to switch off the LED.Seems daft to have a plug that you can switch a light off at night for, but have a bright led glowing away instead...

The LED in the dark is very helpful. I would not disable it.

Hi, I think that Kasa doesn't allows to turn on/off the device led.
I developped a user friendly program called JAUSEWIN for Windows 10 that will allow you to turn on/off the led.
The program is available here for download if you want to check it : https://github.com/inventospracticos/JAUSEWIN/releases
